Knotted explores the material manifestations of rope in relation to the body, object and space. The process of knotting organises the continuous nature of rope into a structured surface, through repeated movements, that becomes forever captured in the knotted pattern. The knot is the building block that through its variation makes the shape.
I’m a designer and architect based in London and Madrid. In 2012 I became a member of the International Guild of Knot Tyers (IGKT).
